Yasiel Donates $20,000 to the Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has donated $20,000 to the Red Cross through his Wild Horse Children’s Foundation. All funds will be directed to relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

This is the latest charitable contribution from Puig, who earlier this month purchased more than $30,000 of school supplies for LAUSD schools located in four low-income areas of Los Angeles.

The Yasiel Puig Wild Horse Children's Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) charity, whose programming efforts include distributing food to areas in need and during the holiday season, purchasing and distributing toys for children, providing athletic equipment to schools and youth leagues in need, and donating supplies to community centers and underprivileged schools. Work takes places in both the United States and Dominican Republic. Complete details can be found at www.wildhorsefdn.org or by following on Twitter and Instagram @wildhorsefdn.
